On 22 June 2026, the Cabinet Division constituted a five-member Selection Committee to recommend candidates for the vacant posts of ACC Chairman and Commissioners. On 2 July 2026, the Committee invited applications from eligible candidates, with submissions due by 13 July 2026. An Additional Secretary was also appointed as an ACC Director General on 2 July 2026.
Observation
    The ongoing recruitment process should be completed promptly through a fair and transparent selection process. However, there is no publicly available information indicating that the proposed new organogram and required human resources have been approved or implemented.
