This reform proposal has been articulated in the Women Reform Commission Report but has yet to be officially initiated.
Observation
    Athletes from the hill areas have a notable presence at the national level. Introducing special training arrangements for adolescent girls from the hill areas and other geographically remote and environmentally vulnerable regions could help identify and bring more talented young women from these areas into national sports. Effective implementation would also require adequate accommodation, safe transportation, qualified trainers, sports infrastructure and sustained financial support.
