This pledge was included in the Bangladesh Nationalist Party’s (BNP) election manifesto for Bangladesh’s 13th national election. The manifesto states that "An Education Reform Commission will be formed on a priority basis. The main goal will be to include realistic, relevant components in the curriculum from the primary level, including multilingual learning, sports, culture, and personal and professional development."
Observation

The establishment of an Education Reform Commission was a key pledge. Several actions have been taken and planned to reform the education sector to date. However, on the part of policymakers, any plan to establish an education reform commission has not been communicated.
